“What happened to your thumb?”
As I write, 26 of my 343 friends are on Facebook chat. It is the middle of a business day and those people, like millions of others, are checking in to see what's happening in the world.
"If you don't eat meat, you will die."
I admit it. I am as guilty as the next person when it comes slacking off on my regular running routine.
"Is the Gardasil vaccine safe?"
This is the question posed by a 14-year-old girl on the top of a Yahoo Answers page, an online forum for users to share information with one another.
"It's supposed to be worse than being blind, not being able to communicate," said my mom, Debbie Hastings.
