Kathryn Gunn

Kathryn is currently a PhD candidate in Northwestern’s Interdepartmental Biological Sciences (IBiS) program. She is a student in Alfonso Mondragón’s lab, where she studies the mechanisms of topoisomerases using single molecule techniques. Kathryn also volunteers at Evanston Township High School with the Science in Society office and organizes the Biophysics Journal Club. In her free time, she practices yoga and bakes too many muffins.
