The vasculature, or the system of blood vessels, is an integral part of all tissues and its architecture is specific to each organ. This three-dimensional cast of the mouse pulmonary vasculature system reveals this intricate structure. Within the lungs, the vasculature is the target for many diseases, including abnormally high blood pressure and blockages in the arteries.
