• The Medill Media and Science Communications program specifically partners the Medill School of Journalism with The Graduate School to allow STEM Ph.D students to earn a cluster or certificate in communications while pursuing their doctoral research.
• The Research Communication Training Program for graduate a postdoctoral students helps with communication and presentation skills in a 10-week summer workshop.
• The Medill Masters in Journalism  includes a specialization in health, environment and science reporting
• Undergraduates have access to elective courses in science, health and environmental reporting.
• The Writing Place offers consultations on writing projects for all students.
