Jim is pursuing a PhD in Communication Sciences & Disorders. His research focuses on the organization of the language network in the brain, and how that language network changes in response to trauma (like stroke or traumatic brain injury) and recovery. Jim lives in Rogers Park with his wife and his dog, and when he isn’t scanning brains or staring at spreadsheets, he makes his own beer, and tries his best to impersonate Dave Matthews on the guitar.
