Eric Earley

Graduate Student

Eric is a Biomedical Engineering graduate student at Northwestern University. A self-described bionicist, his research focuses on improving the control of robotic prosthetic arms and hands. This includes comparing how we control robotic limbs to how we control our biological limbs.

Outside of his lab work, Eric is passionate about science communication and has been a lead organizer for the Chicago Communicating Science Conference (ComSciCon-Chicago) for several years. When he is not working on replacing human limbs with robot limbs, Eric spends his time listening to weird genres of music, playing video games, drinking craft beer, and writing author bios for online magazine profiles.
